BHA Consulting Ltd provide a service to Clients ranging from the initial appraisal of potential development sites to assess the constraints affecting the site, including flood risk assessments, foul and surface water drainage, highways and development issues, through to the detailed design and construction of the development.
We will work on the preliminary design concepts and planning issues through to planning submissions, working closely with the Client, Architects, Local Authority, Environment Agency and Highway Authorities.
We will undertake appraisals of development sites including undertaking flood risk assessments to the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and advising Developers on all aspects of sustainable drainage (SuDS) to the satisfaction of the appropriate authorities.
Extensive experience of working with water companies in the negotiation of sewer easements and requisitions enables us to advise developers on the most effective way to deal with the complex area of off-site sewer works involving third party land ownership.
At the detailed design stage we will carry out the design of roads for Section 38 and Section 278 adoptions, and foul and surface water sewers and drains for Section 104 and Section 98 adoption and requisition agreements.
